We have just opened the Elmore Court diary for 2027 weddings. Don’t worry we still have 2026 dates available, but for those of you who like peace of mind, then here’s why we recommend getting your venue booked as soon as you can.

    1. You have the first choice of dates for your venue. If you have a special date or time of year that you want to get married, then the venue is more likely to be free and you don’t have to compromise.

    1. Your preferred suppliers are more likely to be available, your photographer, florist for example. You may already have list of professionals whose work you like and would like to work with to create your perfect wedding, just like venues, these professionals also get booked years in advance, so it pays to get ahead.
“Booking your wedding so far in advance gives you the best chances of securing your dream team of suppliers – photographers, venues, florists – everybody books up fast. It also gives you the time and space to plan without pressure, the experience stays exciting, not stressful.”

3.  By booking your venue early you will have more time to organise the other details of your wedding, such as invites, flowers, dresses, suits. This helps if you are organising a lot yourself or handmaking certain elements, such as favours, menu’s, place settings etc.

4. Finding a venue early really takes the stress away, you no longer need to spend hours researching online or in your lunch break calling venues for availability and visiting them every weekend.

5. You can send out save the date memos, super early so all your favourite people won’t have an excuse not to attend!

6. Booking early and paying your deposit helps spread the cost of your wedding. The venue is your biggest expense so by paying your deposit upon booking, it will naturally help spread your costs and help budgeting.

7. You can visit the venue a year in advance and see what it will be like at the same time of year. What is in flower? Where you would like to take pictures etc. Our beautiful magnolia tree flowers in March followed by the wisteria in April, then by May the meadows are full of enchanting cow parsley, and June sees the greenhouse full of veg, giving you an abundance of photo opportunities that you can talk to your photographer about.
